Who has America's best
interest in mind?
Where is Frank Lucas while the piracy of Americas
sovereignty and the bankruptcy of the United States of America is unfolding before our very eyes?
With the events of this last week one wonders
who has had the fiddle in their hands while this mortgage volcano has been boiling. In our society of no personally responsibility
for our actions the vultures of both parties are circling to launch their blame game on one another when in reality the government
is in itself the original serpent. Through the relaxing of governmental policies and agency regulation’s (interest
rate reduction and softening of underwriting criteria) it was proclaimed that the American dream of home ownership is an entitlement
of the American citizen and it was mandated to be made so. With a lead in like that it we should not be appalled about the
greed and corruption that occurred during this false era of enlightenment. Should such undisciplined lending
standards be rewarded at the expense of the American taxpayer? Should CEO’s of these companies escape
liability for their actions unscathed financially or occupationally? In a country which abides by the law
of fiscal accountability there would be no escape, but in the current governmental leadership which is led by the nose I would
expect nothing more than amnesty in the same form of which the brokerage banks are receiving. After all,
are you really going to severe the connection which provides funding for your campaign and keeps you in office?
I stated in my blog of June 2008 that the threat to the United States by our government is much larger than all of
the religious radicals combined and with this current crisis I stand firm on my statement.
The ultimate question that I ask and every citizen of the United
States should be asking is;
1. Who is watching out for the interest of the American taxpayer?
2. Where has our current congressman been during the last 6 years?
It should be quite evident that the answer to question #1 is no one!!!! With the parlay of power being
issued to government officials with more than mere acquaintances to those being bailed out, the American taxpayer once again
takes second seat to the special interest and lobbying groups. Once more a problem created by the government is being attempted
to be remedied by throwing money at it. Playing the game with no accountability, taxpayer money and a monopolistic get out
of jail free card the carnage continues with the Federal Debt soaring to 12 Trillion dollars.
Frank Lucas sets on the House Financial Services Committee,
formerly known as the Banking Committee. This committee has jurisdiction over commercial banks and savings and loans. Mr.
Lucas has been setting on this committee for years. Where are you Frank? Are you the one with the fiddle
in your hand? If you were truly committed to representing the taxpayers of your district why have you not
brought this financial sham to light a long time ago? With seniority comes responsibility Mr. Lucas and evidently seniority
in your mind means occupational security rather than doing what is in the best interest of the United States of America and
your constituency. It is time for your retirement Mr. Lucas. The people are ready to have someone represent the 3rd
District that is not afraid to stand up and be counted when it comes to the sovereignty and financial life of this country.
